Hairdressing Curriculums always include the three prerequisite courses:

    1. Hairdressing One (HR1)
    2. Hairdressing Two (HR2)
    3. Hairdressing Clinic One (HRC1)
PLUS Hairdressing Clinic Two (HRC2) or any one, or a combination, of the Non-Hair electives.

In addition to the core courses, you need to take either hairdressing clinic 2 or any one, or a combination of the nonhair progams.

The following are the courses that make up the Hair Curriculum:

Hairdressing One (HR1)
12 weeks day, 23 weeks evening

This is a core course for all other hair-oriented programs, and gives students basic job skills. Subjects taught: Anatomy, Bacteriology, Blow Dry, Setting, Braiding, Coloring, Facial, Salon Management, Manicuring, Orientation, Perms, Products, Scalp Treatments, Shampooing, Shaping (cutting), Hair Styling, Theory and Thermal Wave.

Hairdressing Two (HR2)
12 weeks day, 23 weeks evening, Prerequisite HR1

Continuing to polish the skills learned in Hairdressing One, heavily supervised clinic experiences help students gain confidence and agility. Subjects: continuation of subjects in HR1.

Hairdressing Clinic One and Two (HRC1 & HRC2)
HRC1: 12 weeks day, 22 weeks evening, Prerequisite HR1 & HR2
HRC2: 14 weeks day, 26 weeks evening, Prerequisite HRC1

Hairdressing Clinics provide students with clinical experiences (working on people). Each student must complete a minimum of twelve weeks in the hairdressing clinic during the day, or twenty-two weeks in the evening class. Students are graded on the following services: Blow Dry, Brow Arching, Facials, Fingerwaving, Haircoloring, Hairstyling, Make-Up Applications, Manicures, Permanents, Scalp Treatments, Shampoo and Theory.
