Disclosure of Nonpublic Personal Information
We collect nonpublic personal information about you when you apply to attend The Bucks County School of Beauty Culture, Inc. and/or when you apply for a private or government student grant or loan. This information includes
- Your name
- Address
- Social security number
- Assets and income
- Name of your bank and account number (Very Rarely would this be required)
- Other information necessary to complete applications and/or justifiable maintenance of the student file
We do not disclose this information to any person or institution except to:
- The United States Department of Education,
- Loan guarantee agencies, and/or loan servicing agencies,
- Accrediting agencies to carry out accrediting functions,
- Auditing firms,
- The Comptroller and Attorney General of the United States,
- Federal, State and Local officials pursuant to statute concerning the Justice Systems both adult and juvenile,
- Organizations conducting studies on behalf of educational agencies or institutions,
- Other school officials including teachers with legitimate educational interests,
- Officials of another school or system where the student seeks or intends to enroll,
- A Grand Jury,
- Any supoena issued from a law enforcement agency,
- To the Judicial System if any legal action either initiated by the parent, student or school,
- To a parent of a student regarding violation of the federal, state or local law or policy of the school governing the use, possession or distribution of alcohol or a controlled substance,
- Any party with written consent from the parent of eligible student,
- Whenever in connection with health or safety concerns,
- To nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law.
Your applications, containing the nonpublic personal information listed above, are maintained and safeguarded against loss or damage and to our best abilities pursuant to the Federal Family Educational and Privacy Rights Act. Access to them is restricted to designated employees.
Students may state their FERPA privacy preferences on this form.
