Material Confidentiality

 

All curriculums, lesson plans, course outlines, and other related materials are the sole property of the school. Your Job description includes and you are being paid for, the development, expansion, and additions to programs on which you are responsible. All materials, educational or otherwise produced or utilized while in the employ of the school will be kept within the school and not removed from the school without agreeable notification of the school.

Decisions on how record keeping systems which include but are not limited to: curriculums, lesson plans, course outlines, grades, filing systems and other related materials, are arranged, maintained, reproduced and modified are reserved by the school administration. It is your responsibility to stay within the parameters of the system.

The master files should remain at al times in the master file rack and only copies of the necessary materials brought into the classroom, or work area. This maintains the level of security necessary when dealing with students. Refilling without modifications must be done utilizing the established order, and all care should be taken to keep the master files in order. Modifications may be made on a copy of the master and submitted to the administrative assistant responsible for keeping the files, who will thereby assign a typist to do the modifications. the new material will be entered into the master and all indexes updates automatically.
