Scholarships

The Bucks County School of Beauty Culture inc. is offering two scholarships to the seniors graduating from many schools in and around the Philadelphia / Bucks / Montgomery County areas, in 2007. We are approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as an Associate Degree Granting Institution. The scholarships are in the amount of $3500.00 each to be applied toward the tuition for the complete Associate Degree Course. The current tuition for the Degree Program is $17,200.00. Scholarship recipients will receive the scholarship towards the cost of the course as of the time they register. Students will need to pay the $50.00 registration and purchase their supplies (approx. $1200.00 plus tax). Most students receive approximately $15,000.00 in various financial aid awards. Other than registration and supplies, there should only be a small monthly payment to cover the remainder of the tuition.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Your Guidance Department must attest that recipients will graduate with at least a 2.5 GPA and have no recorded history of disciplinary and/or violent behavior.

  • Applicants must be able to provide their own transportation to our school.

  • Applicants must have parental/guardian permission to apply and attend a Pre-admissions presentation (tour) at the school.

  • Award recipients must be aware that they must maintain satisfactory progress and exhibit a continuing positive attitude toward their education, the facility, the staff, school and the programming to maintain their award and/or attendance in this school.

Application can be made at the guidance office at your High School. (If your Guidance Counselor is unaware of our scholarship program, please have them contact our admission department at 215 322-0666)

BCSBC  provides an associate of specialized technology degree (AST) in the program area of cosmetology. We are located in Southeast Pennsylvania. Areas of study include Hair, Nails, Skin, Esthetics, and Electrolysis. We are located in Feasterville, Pa in Lower Bucks County. We have a diverse student population with students from around the world. Our location allows easy access to Philadelphia, Montgomery County and New Jersey. Housing is available in the surrounding communities including: Trevose, Bensalem, Southampton, Northampton, Newtown, New Hope, Doylestown, Bristol, Langhorne, Penndel, Neshaminy, King of Prussia, Willow Grove, Warminster, Warrington, Yardley, Morrisville, Trenton, Princeton, Fairless Hills, Richboro, Washington Crossing and more. We are only a two hour drive from New York City  and an hour from the Poconos and New Jersey Shore Points. We are less than 25 minutes from center city Philly and other Phila. area attractions.
