Advising and Placement Assistance

Bucks County School of Beauty Culture provides academic and individual advising, and career advising for students who enroll. The institution provides on-site advising at the request of students.
 
The school maintains a computerized placement service which provides all students and graduates equal access to employment opportunities presented to the school. Requests may be made via internet in our Graduate Services Section, click on "Find A Job". There are usually numerous positions available in the system. Please note only graduates of the Bucks County School of Beauty Culture can use the service.  The school cannot guarantee employment to any graduate, and does not certify the availability or quality of the positions posted in the system.

Graduation/Completion Statistics: (1/1/07 through 12/31/07)
  • 94% (27 of 29) Hairdressing students graduated.
  • 90% (18 of 20) Manicuring students graduated.
  • 98% (36 of 37) Esthetician students graduated.
  • 91% (19 of 21) Electrology students graduated.

Placement Statistics: (1/1/07 through 12/31/07)

  • 78% (21 of 27) Hairdressing graduates are employed.
  • 78% (14 of 18) Manicuring graduates are employed.
  • 75% (27 of 36) Esthetician graduates are employed.
  • 79% (15 of 19) Electrology graduates are employed.
 
Licensure Statistics: For the period 1/1/07 thru 12/31/07, Most of our graduates passed on the first attempt and all of the candidates that took or retook the test passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 100%.

BCSBC  provides an associate of specialized technology degree (AST) in the program area of cosmetology. We are located in Southeast Pennsylvania. Areas of study include Hair, Nails, Skin, Esthetics, and Electrolysis. We are located in Feasterville, Pa in Lower Bucks County. We have a diverse student population with students from around the world. Our location allows easy access to Philadelphia, Montgomery County and New Jersey. Housing is available in the surrounding communities including: Trevose, Bensalem, Southampton, Northampton, Newtown, New Hope, Doylestown, Bristol, Langhorne, Penndel, Neshaminy, King of Prussia, Willow Grove, Warminster, Warrington, Yardley, Morrisville, Trenton, Princeton, Fairless Hills, Richboro, Washington Crossing and more. We are only a two hour drive from New York City  and an hour from the Poconos and New Jersey Shore Points. We are less than 25 minutes from center city Philly and other Phila. area attractions.
